Faiyad H Rishal (Master's Student)

I am an aspirant Geographer enthusiastic about Geospatial Technology (GIS-RS) and Climate Change who wants to contribute to the Development and Progress of Humanity by tackling Environmental issues. I have co-authored two international journal articles and as a lead author in one conference proceeding book chapter of Springer Nature book related to Climate and Disaster while working as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Institute of Remote Sensing and GIS, Jahangirnagar University. I attended and presented papers at several international conferences and summer school.

Previously worked as a Geography Instructor at the country’s largest online education platform - 10 minute school. Also, I volunteered at many clubs at my university campus while holding important leadership positions and initiated a project regarding Carbon Neutral Campus during my bachelor's. Previously, I wrote articles as a feature writer at The Daily Ittefaq. My hobby is to Play Guitar and Write Songs.

For my passion in Entrepreneurship and Team Leadership I was involved with Fineanswer Study Abroad as a Team Lead since 2020 which is an innovative startup for providing a one stop study abroad related solution for the students of BD. 5-10 people worked under my leadership.

I completed my SSC from Monipur High School (2014), then HSC from Dhaka City College (2016) and most recently my B.Sc (Hons) in Geography and Environment from Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh (2017-2022).
